Infrastructure is one of the most important foundations of any state. The ability to quickly and safely deliver all kinds of cargo, without problems and comfortably moving from point A to point B, to have access to even the most remote settlements of the country - all this is absolutely necessary for such a huge country as Russia.

That is why the cornerstone in the election program of Vladimir Putin was a significant modernization of the transport infrastructure of the Russian Federation. In the coming years, about 10 trillion rubles will be invested in it.

First of all, this concerns the longest railway tracks in the world - the Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian highways. Now these most important transport arteries are undergoing modernization, which will increase their throughput by 1,5 times. This is a very relevant project, as in recent years the Russian transport system has not been able to cope with the growth of freight traffic.

There is also the possibility that the Russian government will decide to build a bridge to Sakhalin, which has been talked about so much lately.
