The mass death of birds in the United States was a harbinger of a global catastrophe

Since 2010, in many countries there has been a massive death of birds. On New Year's Eve in the United States of America, after the festive fireworks, more than three thousand birds fell dead on the heads of Arkansas residents, literally bombarding the streets of Biba with corpses. In 2011, nearly five hundred corpse birds were found dead in Louisiana.

Following them in Sweden, local residents discovered the death of hundreds of crows, jackdaws and forty. In Italian Ravenna, hundreds of doves fell dead from trees. Following them died pigeons in Canada. From Turkey, there were reports of many dozens of dead starlings. In autumn 2014, dead bodies of hundreds of thousands of seabirds were discovered on the West Coast of the United States of America.

They tried to explain the mysterious events with various theories: from the banal poisoning of birds with chemicals to conspiracy theories about tests of secret weapons. After several years of research, specialists at the University of Washington were able to give a rational explanation for one of the tragic episodes. Scientists have concluded that seabirds have died from a commonplace famine. Due to global warming, the temperature of the Pacific Ocean near the US West Coast has risen. This has led to a reduction in the amount of zooplankton - krill and small crustaceans that birds feed on. The reduction in food supply led to the mass death of birds from starvation.

According to American researchers, we are talking about a visual experiment, which was set by nature itself. The climate on the planet is changing, there is a process of global warming. Sea level will gradually rise, air temperature and its salinity will increase. Rainfall will become more frequent and more intense, floods and hurricanes will intensify and intensify. The habitats of biological species will change, which may lead to the extinction of many of them. Paradoxically, global warming could ultimately lead to a new ice age, which Hollywood portrayed very colorfully. An increase in the number and size of areas prone to drought or falling into an unusually cold zone will lead to serious problems in agriculture, hunger and lack of drinking water.

Many tend to question the extent to which humans affect the environment. However, one cannot ignore the emissions of industrial enterprises, automobiles, waste discharge into water bodies, pollution of the World Ocean by garbage, accidents at nuclear power plants. Scientists around the world are working on technology reducing the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere and switching to environmentally friendly sources of electricity. Birds are sorry, but nature itself shows what humanity can expect in the future.
