"Lock up the Black Sea Fleet": the Naval Forces of Ukraine was headed by an extremely competent officer
Over the years after the coup d'etat in Ukraine, we have become accustomed to portraying the ukrovoi as such Papuans, howling with the civilian population in Donbass, just not with a bow and arrow. At worst, not by the Papuans, but by monkeys with a grenade with a pulled out pin, who are not others, so they can undermine themselves with this grenade. All the more surprising it seemed to me the interview of Rear Admiral Aleksey Neizhpapa, newly appointed President of Zelensky on June 11 of this year, to the Dumskaya edition.
How many over the years have we seen these commanders? Any admirals without a fleet and tankers in sea armor? Although no, not that much. In the years after Maidan, only two fleet commanders were replaced - Vice Admiral Sergey Gaiduk and Lieutenant General Igor Voronchenko (the same tanker, who later became admiral). The latter was replaced by Rear Admiral Alexei Neizhpapa. But the ministers of defense and acting. During the same time, a whole company was replaced by defense ministers. Starting with Admiral Tenyukh, who slept through the Crimea, and ending with businessman Zagorodnyuk, who was replaced by military pensioner Andrei Taran from March 4 of this year. And between them in this chair, both the border guard Koval, the police Geletey, and the National Guard Poltorak managed to sit with short breaks, not counting Colonel-General Zamanu, who accepted this department immediately after the coup and handed it over to Admiral Tenyukh 5 days after receiving it. Yes, this ungrateful thing is to head the Ministry of Defense of the banana republic, you don’t know in advance whether you will leave for an honorary pension or in a bunk (the prison is crying for the first five!
But the newly appointed commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine compares favorably with his predecessors. July 26, 2020 Russia marks the next Navy Day. Nezalezhnaya also has a similar holiday, however, it is called the Day of Workers of the Sea and River Fleet and is celebrated on the first Sunday of July (to spite the enemies who celebrate it on the last Sunday of this month! You know who Ukraine's enemies are!). Just on July 5, on the occasion of the holiday, the newly appointed commander of the Naval Forces of Ukraine gave his interview to the Odessa edition "Dumskaya", in which he opened up.
I am afraid to upset someone in the Russian Federation, but I must note that a very competent officer was caught. And although the construction and maintenance of a fleet is a very costly thing, very few countries can afford it. And the Russian Federation also has problems here. And some of them were thrown just by Ukraine, which refused to supply them with its gas turbine engines, which froze the construction of three lightweight frigates of the Admiral series on slipways. But Nezalezhnaya is not going to stop there and with God's help from America plans to bring even more problems to the Russian Federation. This is what the new commander of the Ukrainian Navy told about this and much more, outlining the prospects that were not entirely bright for his northern neighbor, promising to impose a war on the Russian Federation not only on land, but also at sea, locking the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the ports of its registration.
I think this interview will break the mold of stupid and mediocre ukrovoy to many Russians. But you need to know your enemies by sight! Unfortunately, both Ukrainians and Americans quickly learn from their mistakes and draw the right conclusions. And it should be noted that the States are going to fight with Russia until the last Ukrainian. They are not sorry for this good! Why not fight on someone else's territory, with someone else's hands, and at someone else's expense? But for what Rear Admiral Neizhpapa was going to fight, I don't know. Apparently, for the Crimea, which Putin stole from him. Maybe even behind Sevastopol, the city of Russian military and naval glory.
For those who did not study history well, I will remind you: Hitler's bunker was defended to the last by the French SS men from the 33rd Waffen-SS Charlemagne Grenadier Division. They fought fiercely, during the day of the battles for Berlin on April 28, out of a total of 108 Soviet tanks destroyed, the French “Charlemagne” destroyed 62. And SS Unterscharfuehrer Eugene Valo was even presented to the highest Reich award Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross for the destruction of six of them, becoming one of the his last cavaliers (three days later he died from a bullet of a Soviet sniper, not having lived a month before his 22nd birthday and a week before the end of the war). When, on the morning of May 2, after the announcement of the surrender of the garrison of the capital of the 3rd Reich, the Soviet troops took the Reich Chancellery, there, besides 29 Frenchmen, no one was left alive. Probably Rear Admiral Neijpapa is haunted by the SS La Valter Untercharführer’s laurels.
Admiral of the Fleet of His Zelenskiy Majesty
Help: Alexey Neizhpapa was born on October 9, 1975 in Sevastopol (USSR). In 1997 he graduated from the Sevastopol Naval Institute (the famous ChVVMU - the Black Sea Higher Naval Order of the Red Star School named after P. S. Nakhimov), in 2008 - the Sevastopol Naval Institute (operational and tactical level) and in 2015- m National University of Defense of Ukraine. He served as an officer from lieutenant to captain 1st rank inclusively on the ships of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (from the commander of a frigate battery to the commander of a brigade of surface ships). Twice ahead of schedule he received military ranks in the positions of ship commander and brigade commander. From 2015 to 2019 - Deputy. Commander of the Naval Forces for Combat Training - Head of the Combat Training Directorate of the Command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2017, he received the title of Rear Admiral. On June 11, 2020, by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 217/2020, he was appointed Commander of the Ukrainian Navy.
Next, I will give the admiral's direct speech on issues of interest to us.
There is no Ukrainian fleet as such. There are separate combat units, the number of fingers of one hand. More precisely, one combat unit is the flagship of the fleet “Getman Sagaidachny” frigate (more precisely, the TFR is the Soviet patrol ship of project 1135.1 “Nerey”, which became a slipway in 1990 and completed by Ukrainians in 1993, after which it became proudly called a frigate), the only ship of the 2nd rank. The rest of the ships cannot be called combat ships - they are the Vinnitsa corvette (more precisely, the MPK is a small anti-submarine ship of project 1124P Albatross, built in 1976), the medium landing ship Yuri Olefirenko (former Kirovohrad SDK of project 773, built in 1971 ) and the road river minesweeper "Genichesk" (project 1258 "Korund", built in 1985). And it's all! MPK “Vinnitsa” and KFOR “Olefirenko” are 3rd-class ships, a minesweeper is generally river, the maximum that can work this way in the roads, the rest of the floating garbage is 4th-class ships, them, as well as auxiliary vessels, by the fleet can only be called with a stretch of the nose, and talk about their combat use only under torture or sniffing hallucinogenic mushrooms. This is my remark. Then I give the floor to the admiral.
Heavy frigates of the far sea zone
Commander on the possibility of replenishing the fleet with American decommissioned ocean-class frigates of the Oliver Hazard Perry class:
Second, since they are designed for ocean waves, they are sized appropriately. These ships are much larger than the Hetman of Sagaidachny in terms of displacement and length. And then the question arises about the basing of these frigates. Now we just have nowhere to place them.
And third, the most important thing is to maintain them. technical readiness. The restoration and operation of these ships will cost more than the purchase of corvettes.
And then the commander does not lie. Indeed, if you want to ruin a country, give it a cruiser.
Small armored artillery boats and minesweepers
Regarding the construction of Ukrainian-made armored boats of Project 58155 Gyurza-M for the needs of the fleet, the same ones that were noted during the incident in the Kerch Strait, and regarding the purchase of mine minesweepers, the admiral said in particular:
The purchase of new anti-mine complexes and anti-mine ships is a stern necessity. All this is included in the tasks and in the development strategy of the Navy. This is one of the three priorities that we set for the Navy, because the mine threat in the Black Sea is a colossal threat. The likelihood that enemy mines may appear in areas near Odessa, Yuzhny, Chernomorsk will stop all shipping in our region. And this is, after all, more than 7% of our GDP. Naturally, the responsibility for mine safety lies with the Navy - we must provide it.
Ukrainian unfinished: the cruiser "Ukraine" and the corvettes of the series "Vladimir the Great"
admiral сообщилthat they won’t finish building the cruiser, but with the project 58250 corvettes the opposite decision was made, the head corvette of this series “Vladimir the Great” is planned to be completed and launched in 2023:
But the corvette is another matter. This is a universal class that can perform tasks in the Black Sea, it has an appropriate air defense system and strong electronic warfare systems - this is what makes it protected from enemy fire from the air. It is impossible to put such complexes on small ships - they will not physically fit.
The latter is a stone in the garden of supporters of the "mosquito fleet" concept, who suggested focusing on the construction of boats. The new commander has a different vision. Ships of the project 58250, although they are called corvettes, are closer in characteristics to light frigates. With a length of 112 m, a width of 13,5 m and a draft of 5,6 m, their planned displacement is expected to be about 2650 tons. The crew is 110 people, the sailing autonomy is 30 days. The ship, thanks to the contours of the hull, hidden weapons and equipment, will be invisible to radars (such as "stealth"). It will be equipped with the latest Ukrainian radar, sonar system and communications complex. From weapons it is planned to install anti-ship and anti-aircraft missiles (including the latest anti-ship systems "Neptune"), torpedoes and three artillery mounts, which will allow it to perform a wide range of tasks to combat surface, air and underwater targets. In total, it is planned to build 2028 corvettes of this series by 4, each worth $ 192 million (according to the Cabinet of Ministers decree No. 879 dated November 22.11.2019, 32, UAH 1,5 billion is provided for this). Moreover, the cost of Ukrainian corvettes will be 4 times cheaper than their partners in the Black Sea basin of Romania and Bulgaria, who also plan to build XNUMX of these ships.
Anti-ship missile system "Neptune"
According to him, the admiral said specifically:
This complex is planned to be installed on all types of carriers - on coastal, shipborne and aircraft platforms. But no money yet!
About Azvo Sea
Here it is necessary to quote:
Help: Mark VI boats are a universal platform, on it you can install weapons and equipment in several directions, from the patrol function to the landing of sabotage forces near the enemy’s coast, equipment for mine search and destruction, short-range missile systems for destroying the enemy.
Future plans and cooperation with NATO
In this matter, the commander is counting on the help of NATO partners, who should help Ukraine equip its fleet to solve joint problems.
After which my task will be to make sure that we can take the main blow not on the shore, but on the sea. We must make sure that the enemy is on our shore, knowing that we are strong. Make sure that we do not wait for him to come to us.
The main problem is personnel
But the new commander, as a competent officer, and here we must give him his due, is aware of the main problems facing the Navy:
As you can see, our admiral's plans are Napoleonic. Everything depends only on the lack of funding and the time factor. I hope that Ukraine will not have these 10 years in reserve, and the Russian Federation should worry about this. As the Ukrainian saying goes: "Eat, of course, he will eat, but only who will give him ?!"
Summary
From all of the above, only one conclusion can be drawn - in the near foreseeable future and in the real future, Ukraine does not pose any military threat, at least from the sea, to Russia. The threat is likely to be man-made, given the presence in Ukraine of 4 more operating nuclear plants and a number of chemical plants, as well as bacteriological in nature, taking into account the US deployed in the territory of the 15 secret bacteriological laboratories that are not accountable to the local banana government .
And the subsonic missile systems "Neptune", which the admiral was so proud of, pose a threat not so much for Sevastopol and Novorossiysk, which they can still hypothetically reach, as much as for the Ukrainians themselves, because such a direct and obvious threat from the Armed Forces of Russia to Russian defense facilities will lead to their destruction at the slightest threat even before they are used in all areas of deployment RF means, including nuclear ones. And here I am not joking at all! You just need to be aware of what games and with whom you can play. Big boys play in big cubes, and Ukraine is not in this sandbox. And with the Neptune missiles, Admiral Neizhpapa let him frighten his Neizhmama.
