Briton about life in Russia: Steeper than in Europe
Western media carefully paints a black image of Russia. But Europeans and Americans who have visited our country understand that they are urging them not to believe propaganda. It is interesting that more and more Europeans are coming to Russia - not only tourists or business travelers, but also those who want to stay in our country for permanent residence.
For example, the British engineer Harry Elmers moved to Siberia. Harry is a native of Scotland, a real gel, so he is very skeptical of the British.

In the UK, not to mention the United States, living is much more dangerous. Street crime is extremely high; it’s better not to go into some areas at all. The increase in the number of migrants from the most backward countries in Africa and Asia only exacerbates this problem.
Of course, there is something that Elmers doesn't like. This is the eternal problem of many Russian cities - the dirt on the streets. In addition, the British said that he was unpleasantly surprised by the quality of the air. In large cities like Krasnoyarsk, this is really a big problem. But the Siberian climate does not scare the Englishman. On the contrary, he claims that he had never imagined how hot the Siberian summer could be.
Harry also does not like the fact that in Russia many people work informally. After all, this form of employment actually makes their situation unwarranted. But, on the other hand, in Russia you can at least find work, but in the UK the problem of unemployment is very acute. Even native-born young Britons cannot find their place.
