Russian clone of Mercedes: why is KAMAZ NEO good?
In the middle of last year, the Russian automotive giant KAMAZ introduced a modernized version of the KAMAZ-5490 truck tractor. She got the NEO index. The new model has significantly better performance and comfort.
The base model KAMAZ-5490, being a joint product of KAMAZ and the German Daimler (it owns Mersedes-Benz), became the first Russian tractor to meet Euro-5 standards. The cooperation of the two companies made it possible to create a main tractor that is optimally suited to the conditions of Russian roads and climate.
Distinctive features of the new KAMAZ NEO are increased comfort, enhanced suspension and an increased fuel tank volume. A number of changes also affected the dashboard in the cockpit. It has become more ergonomic and now fully meets the most modern requirements.
