“The terrible truth” about the Crimea

"You can deceive a part of the people all the time, and the whole people for a while, but you can not deceive the whole people all the time." This quote, attributed to Abraham Lincoln, perfectly characterizes what is happening now in Ukraine.

Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians are three parts of the same people, which were divided by state borders in 1991. In March 2014, there was an abyss of hostility and misunderstanding between Russians and Ukrainians based on lies.

“The terrible truth” about the Crimea

One of the postulates of anti-Russian propaganda in Ukraine was the myth of a referendum in Crimea, held at gunpoint by “polite” machine gunners. Say, do not be in the Russian military in Crimea, the results of the vote on the annexation of the peninsula to Russia were completely different, and, therefore, Crimea was annexed.

This myth of the virtual power annexation of Crimea is the basis of the new Ukrainian mythology, which educates the inhabitants of Independence in hatred of the Russian Federation. However, a skeptical person may wonder, why then in the Crimea there is no partisan struggle? Where are even the bastard boys drawing the yellow-black flag on the walls of the houses?

It would be logical to explain their absence by a certain police regime on the peninsula, by the Holdords, grabbing at the dungeons hiding Crimeans Ukrainians, and the Russian Gestapo analogue, poisoning the evil dogs of the patriots of Nezalezhnaya for a harmless “bye”.

You can check whether this is so in one way - by going to the Crimea yourself. Is it because Ukraine is doing everything in its power to prevent its citizens from visiting the peninsula? And in every possible way supports those who support the myths she created about Crimea?
Recent events illustrate this situation perfectly. German deputies from the Alternative for Germany party arrived in Crimea to personally verify what is happening on the peninsula after allegedly annexation by force. Policy from Germany were able to compose their own idea of the real situation in the Republic of Crimea and responded to it in a positive manner. Needless to say, that this visit provoked an extremely negative reaction in Ukraine, since it destroys the new Ukrainian mythology.

A peculiar response in the propaganda war on the part of Independent was a unilateral interpretation of the fact of the expulsion of a British journalist from Crimea. Freelance journalist Madeline Roach, whose country is known for a long-standing "love" for Russia, violated the rules of entry and stay in our country, was detained, fined and sent from the peninsula.

An enraged journalist immediately tried to make herself an innocent victim of the “bloody regime”, which they tried to prevent from revealing the “terrible truth” about the “real situation” in Crimea. Ukrainian propaganda, to the best of its ability, is trying to promote this topic, replacing concepts and manipulating facts.

Everyone who wants to make their own idea of the real situation in the Crimea is advised to fly to or arrive on the peninsula without fear that each agent will be followed by a “bloody gebni” agent and enjoy a vacation on the Black Sea coast.
