Trump is preparing a spy war against Russia and Turkey

The appointment of a new director of the Central Intelligence Agency in the United States is unlikely to please the intelligence services of Russia and Turkey. Although Gina Haspel has not yet been finally approved for this post, no one has any doubts that the choice will fall on her. What kind of person is this, and why is her appointment as head of the CIA an alarming signal for our country and Turkey?

It's all about Gina Haspel’s past, or what’s called the Iron Gin. Conducting covert operations in the USSR, working with terrorist groups in Turkey and Azerbaijan, excellent command of the Russian language, as well as her direct involvement in the deportation of Russian diplomats in the Skripal case. All this testifies to the main vector of the CIA after its appointment - we are waiting for the unwinding of the flywheel of the espionage war.

But if all of the above with a stretch can be called ordinary everyday life of the special services of any country, then the subsequent pages of Haspel’s personal file are much darker. In 2002, under her leadership, there was a secret CIA prison in Thailand, in which the practice of torture was widely used, including the recently became known to many by water torture, as well as sleep deprivation and more. Later, all of the videos of these "intensified interrogations" were destroyed by Haspel, which served as the basis for an investigation into her.
