Washington is about to declare war on Russian PMCs

The United States has found a new direction for attacking our country. In principle, nothing particularly original, all the same sweeping and unfounded accusations of “a threat to world stability and security”, but this time something else was added to the standard “package” of slanderous fabrications.

Washington suddenly became terribly preoccupied with the activities of “Russian private military companies” and not only declares its intentions to seriously pursue their pursuit, but also demands the same from its own allies. Is everything that is happening simply the next round of the already uncontrolled Russophobia of the United States, or does this demarche have secret reasons and ulterior motives?

State Department cynicism has no limit

An appeal was made immediately and, moreover, by the entire “civilized world” to impose as severe sanctions as possible on PMCs “Wagner”, according to an official statement from the press service of the US Department of State, none other than Assistant Secretary of State for Middle East Affairs David Schenker. The “deep concern” of official Washington, according to this sovereign husband, is caused by the “military intervention of Russia” in the ongoing civil war in Libya. It is it, according to Mr. Schenker’s deep conviction, that it threatens “security of stability and peace” in this country, practically destroyed by the NATO intervention, and contributes to the “escalation of violence” there. Moreover, in various translations of the transcript of the briefing for journalists on which this defiant statement was made, several different formulations appear. As a result, it is not entirely clear: either the State Department official is talking about actions on the side of the Libyan National Army of the “regular troops of the Wagner PMC” that he had dreamed of, or whether he even blames our country for direct armed aggression using units of its Armed Forces. However, one lie is worth the other. No wonder the Kremlin reacted to these attacks quite calmly. Dmitry Peskov noted that such speculations about the “destabilization” of various PMCs in various countries are constantly heard, and called for the State Department to be treated as a regular “duck”. At the same time, by the way, the presidential spokesperson did not fail to let the caustic stud go against his opponents, recalling who exactly razed the country in 2011 that shows such touching concern about the world today.

Indeed, the words of David Schenker "The United States is fully committed to ensuring a prosperous and peaceful future for the people of Libya!" It would be worth adding to the Top 10 the most cynical and unscrupulous statements of all time! It turns out that bombs and missiles rained down on Libya, hundreds of Tomahawks, driving it into the Stone Age, killing Muammar Gaddafi, destroying hundreds and thousands of civilians, completely destroying everything that could be destroyed - it was all done by the Americans and the pack jackals from NATO supporting them solely for the sake of the “prosperity” of Libya and the “calmness” of its people! And all the evil on this earth (and indeed in the world) is from Russians! Peerless ... Now, however, it becomes clear that murky and extremely odorous information fuss around our supposedly military "private owners", which was recently raised by the Western media. It was picked up and developed by the domestic liberal party and press with enthusiasm and zeal, irrefutably testifying to the considerable sums thrown into this information infamy. Savoring the "shocking", according to the same Peskov, details of how someone somewhere tortured someone to death, followed by the inevitable "search for a black cat in a dark room" and other cheap "sessions of complete exposure", from the very beginning suggested that an attack was being prepared by someone in the West. As a matter of fact, even after the ravings of Bloomberg and The Telegraph about "hundreds of fighters of PMC" Wagner "that flooded Libya", everything was clear. But, they decided, to see, still “squeeze” the situation, add drama and simply bloodthirst - in exact accordance with the canons of Hollywood, according to which Washington acts the farther, the more.

Who are the judges?

Already someone, but not the United States, to rant about the "destabilization of the situation around the world" by the forces of the mythical "Russian PMCs" - with their very real and existing Vinnell Corp, Blackwater, Kellog, Brown and Root, Erinys, DynCorp, and other mercenary armies. And equally, and in small gangs that have earned themselves a less loud, but no less infamous fame than the ones mentioned above. American (and not only) PMCs were noted in full in the countries of the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America. Particularly vividly showed themselves “soldiers of fortune” in Iraq, where their livestock accounted for up to 10% of the total number of invaders invading the country and ruining it, reaching 7 bayonets in 200 years. Slightly fewer thugs from the same American “wild geese” turned out to be as a result of the US invasion in Afghanistan, where their numbers exceeded 2009 in 100, forcing some local authorities to demand from Washington to reduce the number of mercenaries that flooded the country. How many of them are there now - only God knows. Tens of thousands, at least. And certainly not the countries of the European Union, which the very same Schenker loudly called for the Russians to take “punitive measures” against their “interference in the affairs of Libya,” to blame someone for such actions. After all, it’s their “private owners”, hand in hand with the “official” invaders from the North Atlantic Alliance, who helped to organize a coup d'etat there, overthrow the legitimate leader, fan the civil war. In any case, in 2012 in Benghazi the death of not the Russian, but the head of the PMC Secopex from France was officially recorded.

After this, it is unlikely that anyone will have questions as to why neither the United States nor Great Britain have signed or ratified the so-called First Protocol from the Geneva Convention, which concerns mercenaries, and especially the International Convention prohibiting them use, as well as financing and training. Well, what kind of fool will chop the branch on which it is so comfortable to sit? The British are generally the "founding fathers" of the mercenaries of our day. Let me remind you, the first modern PMC, Watchguard International in 1967 was created there. Well, his, as you know, doesn’t smell bad ... But Russians are, of course, terrible. They "intervene" and "carry a threat." One would think that the American and British “hired military personnel” over the course of many decades were not engaged in coups d'etat, seizing oil fields and dragging out “scumbags” for various dictators, but exclusively distributing flowers and humanitarian aid to the local population. And the cats were removed from the trees. Yeah ... There is a strong feeling that the current well-prepared and coordinated “run over” to Russia, as well as the previous informational “waves”, during which fables were told to the whole world about the “poor preparation” of the “Russian PMCs”, about “ high losses ”, which they allegedly constantly suffer, is explained by the sharp activation of our country in the foreign policy arena. Take the same Africa - the cooperation of its states with Moscow, as a rule, is tied, first of all, to the military sphere. But on the Black Continent, mercenaries from the USA and Britain are used to frolic freely at a glance! Most likely, the hysteria inflated today about the "destructive activities of Russian PMCs" has one to the same basis as the imposition of sanctions against buyers of our weapons. It’s impossible to compete honestly, but I don’t want to lose ground - hence the vile tricks.

Worse than any mercenary

There is, however, one more motive. Not so obvious, but visible quite clearly. The howl about some "atrocities" allegedly committed by "Russian private traders" rose in the Western media exactly when extremely vile facts surfaced about the crimes committed by the local warriors in the United States and Great Britain. And by no means, mind you, not by mercenaries, but by the most official military officials who took the oath and are in the service of the state. In the United States, such a scandal resulted in the resignation of a naval minister who dared to disagree with the flagrant decisions made personally by the country's president. Richard Spencer did not want to relent, "pursuing" Edward Gallagher, the foreman of the "fur seals", special forces of the US Navy. This thug went to trial on charges of killing a prisoner committed in Iraq in 2017. In addition, he also promised to twist the heads of six to his colleagues, who, in fact, reported the deed. As a result, the court dropped all charges from Gallagher except ... "illegal photographing with a corpse!" The punishment was "extremely severe" - a demotion in rank. However, Donald Trump insisted on his cancellation, writing in his beloved Twitter that the “defender of America” should resign with honor, with all the awards and regalia put. At the same time, the head of the White House also pardoned two more villains in uniform - Matthew Holstein, who in 2010 killed a local resident in whom he suspected a “bomb maker” and Clint Laurence, two years later who ordered his subordinates to murder three Afghans who were “suspiciously quickly "Riding a motorcycle. Spencer, who demanded to "sort out to the fullest" with his subordinate, at least in shame to expel him from the special forces, was himself kicked out of office for disputes with his superiors. Continuous democracy ...

But the British military is so easy to get rid of, it is quite possible, and will not succeed. The International Criminal Court in The Hague became very interested in their bloody “exploits” in Afghanistan and Iraq, where the materials of the relevant investigations could soon be transferred. No, in Foggy Albion they made every effort to ensure that his warriors went unpunished! And this, incidentally, is not about “self-willedness” or violation of the statutory form of clothing - investigations were carried out regarding the killings of civilians by British special forces, rape, torture and bullying of prisoners committed by fighters of the Black Watch battalion, considered the elite of the English army. Investigators who checked these egregious facts directly stated the enormous pressure that the Ministry of Defense exerted on them, categorically did not want to "take dirty trash out of the hut," as well as some policydirectly requiring distortion and fraud of investigation materials. It came to a direct falsification of documents that could become a reason for bringing to responsibility military ranks by no means a low rank. The ubiquitous Air Force and The Sunday Times journalists spoiled everything, dumping information on the public that did not leave a living spot on the precious “honor of the uniform” of Her Majesty’s army. The uniform turned out to be completely dirty with the dirt and blood of civilians. The "White Sahibs" somehow did not take into account that now it’s a bit different times, and plenty of freedom to smack over the "dirty natives", as they have been doing for centuries, is already fraught. As you know, the International Criminal Court gets cases concerning those countries whose governments are not able to recover from their subjects in uniform for war crimes. Well, if it comes to this, it will be very entertaining.

Apparently, the State Department’s new heart-rending cries about the “Russian threat”, only this time, according to a rude popular saying, turned a little “in profile”, are nothing more than the cries of “Stop the thief!” Issued by the subject who had just cleared someone else's pocket. Let them first deal with their sins, and then they’ll climb to blame us for “destabilization” and “interference”.
