At the Beijing Auto Show, BMW unveiled a conceptual model of its new latest-generation BMW X3 electric crossover. While the car exists only in a variant of the concept, but it is planned to launch it in a series. Production will be located in China at the BMW Brilliance joint venture.

The model is called iX3, the electric car is equipped with the fifth-generation eDrive proprietary electric drives, one of the advantages of which is the combined layout of the engine, electronics, batteries and transmission, which allows you to integrate it into a car of any model without serious difficulties.

According to company representatives, a 3-horsepower electric motor with a 272 kW / h battery will be installed on the iX70, providing more than 400 kilometer power reserve. It will be possible to charge all this in just half an hour, thanks to the support of 150 kilowatt charging stations.

Of the design features, it is possible to note the improved aerodynamic component of the body and wheels, as well as a deviation from the design of the BMW branded radiator grille - this time the two halves do not have a strict separation.
