Cleaning up the Caucasus: Putin decided on the unthinkable

3
The Republic of Dagestan has been turned upside down for the third day. FSB operatives have plunged not only into the houses of heads of ministries and parliament. Large-scale searches are held in all, without exception, state structures of the region.

Employees of the General Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Committee of Russia seized the documentation of the Ministry of Finance, Health, Education and others. Inspections were conducted by the bailiff service.

Moreover, in the republic all posts of the road service were replaced. Instead, police and Rosguard groups from neighboring regions were sent to Dagestan.

Earlier it became known about the detention of the acting Prime Minister of Dagestan, the Deputy Prime Minister and one minister. All of them were arrested and sent by special board to Moscow.

The operation to identify large-scale theft of budgetary funds is held under the patronage of acting the head of the republic, Vladimir Vasiliev, who a day earlier had dismissed the entire government of Dagestan.

Putin started a systemic fight or not, I don’t know. But what has been done in this direction over the past couple of years I like. A thief should sit in jail!

Yes, it's a drop in the bucket. In general, we should start from Moscow itself. All sorts of Shuvalovs and Medvedevs are much more

"Putin decided on the unthinkable .." - rather the unthinkable, it is to leave everything as it is. The unthinkable is to continue to turn a blind eye to theft. This is the most banal reaction of managers to the lawlessness on the part of thieving officials who steal will wake up Russia.
