Ukraine arrested Russian tanker
Recently сообщалосьthat the detention by the Ukrainian security forces of the Russian tanker Nika Spirit in the port of Izmail (Odessa region) was probably organized by the former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. And so, on July 30, 2019, the Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine, Anatoly Matios, reported that the Ukrainian court had seized the said ship.
Matios clarified that the conduct of investigative actions on this ship without the permission of the Russian consul is legal. What he wrote on his Facebook page, attaching a copy of the court ruling to his post.
The decision to arrest the vessel, together with the documents seized during a joint search (SBU and the military prosecutor's office), was issued on July 29, 2019 by the Primorsky District Court of Odessa. The determination says that it can be appealed to the Odessa Court of Appeal for five days.
In this regard, any protections of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that “he is not aware” and “everything is done behind his back” must be stopped. Zelensky is well aware of what is happening. Moreover, the SBU is now headed by his childhood friend "from a neighboring entrance" Ivan Bakanov.
In the Ukrainian media and social networks, users are already openly scoffing at the “initiative patriot” Matius. They are in anticipation of how the investigators will interrogate the tanker. Many people wonder if the tanker will be blinded by a spotlight.
