General Staff of Russia: Americans rob Syria and export oil from the country
The true purpose of the participation of Americans in the Syrian conflict is a banal thirst for profit.
Sergei Rudskoy, head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said at a briefing at the Russian Ministry of Defense that on the eastern bank of the Euphrates, which the Americans controlled, they organized oil production at the Konako, El Omar, and Tanak fields.
According to him, oil production is controlled by private military companies (PMCs), which, if necessary, receive assistance from the coalition’s air forces.
In fact, the American structures took possession of the illegal business, which for a long time was a source of income for terrorists of the Islamic state *.
According to the information available to Sergei Rudskoy, American PMCs are constantly increasing the contingent in the oil production area. So, at present, the number of PMC personnel at oil production facilities has reached 3,5 thousand people.
In addition, groups of terrorists from war zones arrive in the zone of control of Americans for regrouping and rest.
Colonel General emphasized that such an activity of American structures is nothing more than the looting of the national wealth belonging to Syria.
