Development is carried out by the design bureau "BP-Technology", part of the holding" Russian Helicopters. The take-off mass of the unmanned aerial vehicle is 300 kg. The helicopter is being developed in two versions, designed to perform various tasks.

The first modification was called Arctic Supervision, and in full accordance with it will be operated in the Arctic region. The helicopter will be able to transport up to 70 kg of payload to hard-to-reach places, including food and medicine, and one of its tasks will be to participate in search and rescue operations. In addition, the drone will be equipped with a side-view radar for ice reconnaissance.

In Opticvision, the second modification of the VRT300, the emphasis is on a long range. It will be used for remote sensing and monitoring tasks. First of all, an unmanned helicopter will carry out diagnostics of power lines and exercise control in the field of transportation and extraction of energy resources, including its tasks include assistance in eliminating various accidents. In addition, they intend to use the multi-purpose apparatus for mapping the terrain, conducting search operations and monitoring the ecology and condition of the road infrastructure.

After bench tests, the aircraft is already waiting for flight, which should begin at the end of this year.
