MI-6 intelligence: Russia could fake GPS data and send a tanker to Iran

5
Recently we Reportedas the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) detained the Stena Imperio oil tanker under the British flag in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. And so, the British special services decided to please the international community with their “sensation”, and, by tradition, they threw out frank misinformation through the controlled media of “Foggy Albion”.

So, the British tabloid Sunday Mirror reports, referring, as usual, to its "over-informed" sources that the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI-6), together with the Government Communications Center (GCHQ), are currently carefully studying the version that Moscow could stand behind Tehran’s capture of the aforementioned tanker. At the same time, the British media are still embarrassed to tell the details of the detention in the international waters of the Strait of Gibraltar, on July 4, 2019, of the Grace 1 supertanker, who was transporting oil from Iran to Syria, in particular, the fate of the arrested crew members of this vessel.

But Sunday Mirror is worried about another matter. Allegedly, the tanker Stena Imperio was sent to the territorial waters of Iran using signals with false GPS coordinates according to “Russian spyware” Technology". Because of what, the crew of the tanker was misled and might have thought that it was at a safe distance from the territorial waters of Iran. That is, the British unprovenly repeated everything that they broadcast after the disaster of the Polish "board number 1" near Smolensk in April 2010, when as a result of the crash of the Polish President Lech Kaczynski, most of the leadership of this country died.

Russia has the technology to spoof GPS. Perhaps she helped Iran in this adventure <...> The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Russian intelligence worked very closely in Syria, protecting and promoting their interests.

- told Sunday Mirror an unnamed source of one of the special services.

The tabloid notes that the “powerful” frigate of the British Navy Montrose was sent to help the tanker in trouble. He was in a hurry, but arrived at the site late when the tanker was already in the territorial waters of Iran. After that, the lone frigate of the former "mistress of the seas and oceans" did not dare to enter other people's waters.

It must be recalled that the British tanker was not going to touch anyone at all. The tanker was sailing to the city of Jubail in Saudi Arabia, but on July 19, 2019 he collided with an Iranian fishing vessel (trawler) and ignored the distress signal. Naturally, the Iranian authorities detained the intruder and 23 members of his crew, including three Russian citizens. Now the British Foreign Ministry threatens Iran with consequences (sanctions) and writes sneak in the UN Security Council.

Russia is "guilty" by nature, even where there is absolutely no evidence.

Here it is, it turns out, and the Ukrainians have long been waiting for this tanker, and sit at night with torches and kerogazs.

He (the tanker) could not "reach" the destination, as he (the tanker) travels across the seas and oceans!
