Hyperloop is being built around the world.

Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, one of the manufacturers of the Hyperloop transportation system of the same name, signed a contract for the construction in 2019 of its longest route at the moment in the United Arab Emirates. In the future, this section will become part of a large transport highway connecting the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

О Technology Hyperloop, one of the many offspring of Elon Musk, first became known in 2013. It is based on the creation of transport pipes with very low pressure inside, which will allow passenger capsules to be dispersed up to 1200 kilometers per hour, due to the almost complete absence of air resistance. Until now, the technology has not received large-scale implementation: a relatively large model of the system was built near the headquarters of SpaceX, where engineers of passenger capsules regularly conduct races in an attempt to find out whose design is better; and another 500 meter section of the route was built by Hyperloop One, where a capsule of the production of the same company was tested, which was able to disperse to 386 km / h.

The route in the Emirates will be 10 kilometers long, the route will run several tens of kilometers from the city of Dubai, through the city of Al-Gadir. Later, the same route will be extended to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and will pass through cities such as Al Ain and the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi.

Earlier, the same company signed a contract for the construction of Hyperloop in France (one of the sites will be commissioned at the end of this year), in addition, HTT plans include similar projects in South Korea, as well as the construction of a transport highway immediately between the capitals of three European states - Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest.

A sharp increase in pressure does not happen in conventional transport and I think that during an accident / sharp depressurization of a car in a pipe, barotrauma can be obtained. And in the event of a disaster at this speed, injuries are likely to be fatal.
