Generals against Zelensky: APU will hold a parade contrary to the decision of the president
In Ukraine, the confrontation between the new president Zelensky and the high army command of the Armed Forces continues.
In response to Zelensky’s decision to abolish the traditional military parade on Independence Day of Ukraine, Mikhail Zabrodsky, commander of the airborne assault forces of the Armed Forces, said that the military parade would take place.
According to him, the parade is a symbol of independence and struggle of Ukrainians with enemies, a great honor for the military, as well as an opportunity for civilians to pay tribute to the defenders of peace and peaceful sky.
Frond Zabrodsky is easily explainable: the appointee of the former president, he now eagerly speaks at the pre-election events of the Poroshenko party “European Solidarity”.
The video message of Zabrodsky was posted on his Facebook page by the adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yuriy Biryukov, who recently had a search by the State Bureau of Investigation (GBR) in connection with a case for the supply of clothing to the Ministry of Defense.
Biryukov became famous for his irrepressible theft in uniform supplies to the Armed Forces, where he lobbied for the interests of certain manufacturers.
One of the most famous scams is the delivery to the Armed Forces of the so-called “one-step berets - Biryukovites”, made by a structure close to it. According to Ukrainian soldiers, these boots fell apart after a hundred steps, having managed to rub bloody corns on the soldier.
Recall that the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Paruby, contrary to Zelensky’s decision, called on the military and citizens of Ukraine to hold an alternative military parade in Kiev.
